Biwekshil Youth Club's 3 Year | 3 Years Completed | BYC Experience

3 years of Biwekshil Youth Club (Gajjar)

Mukesh Pandey (Founder)

A type of community club for local youth that creates, provides, funds and organizes a range of activities for the local youth working in partnership with local businesses, companies, enterprises, organizations and local unity government for a range of innovative purposes.

The children have a youth club to have a place to go to socialize and do activities together.

To prevent our youths from going to the wrong direction by involving them in social activities and providing them with social responsibilities. Even after electing leaders from different political parties, the development activities of our village remain unaccomplished. Roadless places not even gravelled, no bridges , no ground to play.

We successfully started the club in 2076/09/11 BS and named it as ‘Biwekshil Youth club’.

This club was formed to bring every possible positive and progressive changes in our place. With this motive, our club initiated different campaigns such as:

Cleaning Campaign

- [ ] In the very first week, we started a cleaning campaign with a Nepal’s youngest social activist ‘KP khanal’ in ward no. 10. We got great response and reviews from different news portals. They even published our work in the newspaper and finally the people who used to laugh at us started praising our work. After starting cleaning campaign in the majority of the places in ward no. 10 like

Jimuwa chowk,

Sukashaal,

Gaddachauki,

During Covid-19

We all are aware about this miserable time. When small brothers and sister were not able to continue their studies due to the lockdown, we started teaching them in the Radha Krishna temple at Gajjar by following the Government’s covid protocol. We used hand sanitizer, mask and maintained appropriate distance. Due to this, small kids got to study free of cost. Our Teaching Work Continuously Starting till 3 months.

Public Awareness During Corona pandemic

While people were unknown about the measures to prevent themselves from covid-19 and fighting against life and death, we launched a public awareness campaign which promoted the level of consciousness among people about the situation and how they can prevent themselves from corona virus. Additionally, we even distributed free masks and sanitizers to the villagers.

Construction Work

People had to face alot problems in the transportation especially in the rainy season and to overcome that the club members united and began roads and bridge construction works. The ungravelled roads were gravelled. Roads started getting pitch everywhere. New roads were opened.
