An Effective Communication Workshop 1.0

Xavier Students’ Council and Xavier A-level club have jointly organized a two-day workshop titled “Effective Communication 1.0” with the support of Xavier literature club, Xavier Arts and Photography club, and media partner Xavier E-magazine hub. The workshop was held on 13th and 14th of December 2022 with the active participation of grade-11,12 and A-level students.

An energetic organizing committee of 10 members was formed from both the organizing club and the routine task were assigned to all the 6 volunteers and 10 members. Although due to the limitation of time, we were able to manage and conduct this workshop successfully and smoothly. Altogether 63 students participated in this 2-day workshop by registering their names both online and physically. On the 3rd day of the announcement, we were urged to close the registration due to the high number of participants.

The workshop was conducted in 7 different interactive and entertainment sessions, focusing on different aspects of communication with the help of our 5 highly qualified mentors. On the very first day Mr. Basanta Upreti, Ms. Muna Baral, and our counselor Mr. Manohar man Shrestha took their first session which include dealing with the conflict, encouraging and decision making as well as preparing on effective communication . The second day was also more fruitfull due to many interactive sessions taken through our mentor and also a motivating session taken by our chief guest, our honourable principal sir Mr. Dipen Dahal.

At the end of the program there was a certificate distributing ceremony through the hand of our chief guest to all the organizing members, volunteers and participants. By this the formal session ends with the thank you speech from the chairman of the program, the president of Xavier Students' Council.

At last a feedback report was taken from the participants and the report was satisfying. By this the organizing committee was dismantled and the reports of the activities along with the photographs were submitted to the college administration.
